Authorities in Jacksonville, Florida, are actively searching for Travis McCrimager, a 17-year-old autistic teenager who was reported missing after leaving his home overnight.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, Travis was last seen between 11 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday after he left his residence on Golfbrook Drive in the Moncrief area. Since that time, he has not been heard from, raising concern among family members and law enforcement officials.
Travis is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing approximately 154 pounds, with black hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was reportedly wearing a blue zip-up Nike jacket, Strawberry Shortcake pajama bottoms, and white and gray Jordan sneakers.
Officials have noted that Travis has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, making the urgency of locating him even greater as authorities continue their search efforts.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is urging members of the public to come forward with any information that may help locate him. Anyone who may have seen Travis or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 904-630-0500.
